What you'll need to get covered

To use our taxi insurance, you must keep your free device installed and activated at all times. You’ll also need to meet the following criteria:

Additional criteria may apply. Zego do background checks on convictions and motoring history.

  • Aged 21 to 75
  • Full IE or EU driving licence
  • No more than 9 penalty points
  • No more than 3 at-fault claims in the last 3 years
  • Vehicle value less than €65,000

Our fully comprehensive cover includes

  • Costs for causing damage to other vehicles or property up to €5m
  • Windscreen (excess €50)
  • Loss or damage of your vehicle’s spare parts
  • Loss or damage of your vehicle
  • Your legal liability for causing death or injury to other people
  • Audio, communication and navigation equipment (excess €400)
